Factory Expo Home Center's staff is top notch. I would specifically like to call out Kevin Boltinghouse who helped me through the process of choosing my home from start to set up. He puts the customer first and was instrumental in providing me any information needed along the way.There were a few issues we had to work through, and this rating would have been 5 stars if the issues were handled in a timelier manner. That being said the issues were resolved and I'd like to thank Albert Preston for his coming out to see me in person and working with me to be sure I was satisfied. The new general manager, Tyler Pritt took the time to follow up with me after the small repairs were made.I would like to make anyone aware that when you receive the plans know that some of the items can change based on HUD. If you can be on hand while the home is being built that is best, and one of the reasons I chose to go with this company.Overall, I have a beautiful retirement home that was a great value in today's market.

Upon arrival, Kevin and I spoke about what I was looking for in a home and how the structure would hold up compared to other homes. He then took me on a complete tour of how the homes are built from the trailer/wheels to the roof, and beyond. I was very impressed how the outlets were connected to a stud. AND, beyond that, the knowledge that Kevin had in explaining each and every step that goes into making these homes, a very well structured and built home. Every detail, down to how long the nails are that they use, to how strong this type of "glue" is to withstand 90 mile an hour winds and doesn't melt in the heat, that is used in the beam structure of the roof. Now that, is impressive! After the tour of the factory, Kevin took me inside the homes on the lot .. explaining about the walls, what appliances come with the home, etc. Another thing that I found impressive ... was that they were "flippable." Yay!Kevin brought me into his office, and we talked "numbers." Once again, impressed. He gave me brochures to take home with some prices ... I keep leaning towards the Greenwood. I have my work cut out for myself in the next week or so and a LOT of thinking and praying.I am very glad that I took the day, to learn about what goes into the structure of these homes, and to have Kevin explain it to me. I asked questions, he had the answers. 🙂

So I had an appointment with Mrs.Justin and she was so helpful and amazing. I got to look at three different homes and did videos of the homes. While doing a walk through she told me some information about what you can do which I really like. Because some people tell everything or get you too much information to where I would forget. Then when we got to the office she gave me extra floor plans and prices. Then gave me a lot of information about loans and ect. Then one woman gave my son coloring book and crayons and we got to use the restroom. Next she said if I got gas and buy a home that they will refund my gas money. We toured this facility on Saturday 05/11/24 after driving from Columbus, Ohio to Virginia just to see these homes and it was very informative. Our tour guide “Ruth Hurban” was very knowledgeable and showed us how the modular/doublewide homes are built from beginning to delivery. I didn’t think that I would enjoy learning about how a modular/doublewide home was built but it was a pretty interesting experience. Being able to see the models was very exciting and beautifully decorated! If you’re thinking about one of these homes I would recommend going on the tour and checking out the models that they have on the property.

Had a wonderful experience at Park Models Direct in Rocky Mount, VA. Justyn was very informative and extremely patient with all my questions. We got to see many different models and even got a tour of the factory. Will definitely buy our home from there.
